　　第8题主要是考查上下文的衔接，上文列举了一系列的商店都是全天营业，当然也包括选项D中的超市。所以选择D项。 

　　Interviewer:I see,emn...Do you think New York is as multinational as London? 

　　记者：我明白了，你认为纽约像伦敦一样国际化吗? 

　　Interviewee:Oh,that’s for sure.But it’s not as mixed__9____like there’s Russian ,the German section and China Town.But I think the major difference between these two cities was the height of the place.Everything was up in the Big Apple.We lived on the thirty-fifth floor.And of course everything is faster and the New Yorks are much ruder. 

　　受访者：哦，那是一定的。但是它们不像俄国人一样互不掺杂____9____，德国人有德国人的部分，中国人有中国人的区域，但是我想大多数存在于两个城市之间不同点是这个地方的高度。一切在纽约(大苹果是纽约的别称)都是居上的。 

　　既然是互不掺杂的居住，当然得选择A项，各居其所。 

　　Interviewer:Oh!In what way? 

　　记者：哦!以什么方式呢? 

　　Interviewee:Well,pushing in the street,fights about getting on the bus,__10_____And of course the taxi drivers! 

　　受访者：嗯，在公交车和街道上打架，____10____当然还有公交车司机。 

如果都像英国似的排队，也就不会出现打架斗殴的事件了，所以选择B。
